Fertility Q&A- Miscarriage Part 2

Dr. Natalie Crawford answers voicemail questions about miscarriage. Miscarriage is so hard and something Dr. Crawford has experienced herself. Understanding when you should seek help and what that help should look like can be so advantageous as you try to advocate for yourself.

Questions answered:

  1. Is it common to have something retained in the uterine cavity after a miscarriage? What could cause this?

  2. I am having recurrent implantation failure with PGT-A tested embryos. My REI recommends a new cycle because there could be a cohort issue. What are your thoughts?

  3. After two healthy pregnancies, I lost a pregnancy at 19.5 weeks. They told me my next pregnancy would be low risk, which concerns me that I’ll only get two ultrasounds.

  4. I had a miscarriage at around 6 weeks after my first IVF transfer. Is it normal to experience some spotting while waiting for my next period.

  5. I had a miscarriage after my first pregnancy. Could my PCOS have played a role in the loss?
