Premature Ovarian Insufficiency

Dr. Natalie Crawford discusses POI and what you should know about this medical condition. POI is also sometimes called premature ovarian failure or early menopause. This diagnosis means loss of ovarian function and running out of eggs before the age of forty. This diagnosis can be very difficult and it's important to understand what it means for you and your fertility.

We have decided to move Fertility In The News to the weekly newsletter in order to keep the podcast more evergreen. If you want to sign up go to nataliecrawfordmd.com/newsletter to sign up!

Finally, Natalie answers your social media questions during her segment FFS—For Fertility’s Sake.  Are anti-depressants safe in pregnancy? When can I do another embryo transfer after having my first baby via IVF? What’s the best approach to IVF with low ovarian reserve? Do you max out on retrievals or transfers?- I read there is a connection to cancer? What changes do you need to make when you are pregnant?

Don't forget to ask your questions on Instagram for next week’s For Fertility’s Sake segment when you see the question box on Natalie’s page @nataliecrawfordmd. You can also ask a question by calling in and leaving a voicemail. Call 657–229–3672 and ask your fertility question today!
